Clean TeQ Water is currently delivering a water treatment plant to remove hardness from bore water in Northern Queensland, Australia

Summary

CLQW is currently delivering a water treatment plant to remove hardness from bore water in Northern Queensland, Australia. CLQW is designing, supplying, and installing a fixed bed ion exchange treatment plant, and supplying a packaged gas chlorination system to remove hardness and reduce the salinity of an existing bore water supply. The ion exchange resin type chosen by CLQW allows the hardness to be reduced without increasing the sodium concentration, producing a higher quality water with lower TDS. The plant will reduce the scaling of pipes and improve taste of the community’s potable water. The storage and distribution system of potable water for the township is also being revamped as part of the project.

CLQW will manage the full design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the plant including subcontracting the civil works. The program of works has commenced and is expected to run through to 2022.
