Installation of Clean TeQ Water's First Australian EVAPX® Unit Commences

29 June 2022

Clean TeQ Water has commenced installation its first Australian EVAPX® system in Forbes, New South Wales. The plant will remove 34 m3/day of excess water from brine used to cure hides in the agricultural industry. The system will remove the need for evaporation ponds and allow the salt to be recycled instantly.

EVAPX® is less energy intensive with a much lower environmental footprint compared to natural gas boiler systems, which are often used by the industry. This will result in a substantial reduction of the customer’s carbon footprint. The lower temperatures of EVAPX® prevent damaging hides when the brine is reused, ensuring the customer achieves a high quality final product.
