Clean TeQ Opens European Office and Joins The Water Alliance

26 September 2022

Clean TeQ Water is pleased to announce the registration of our European subsidiary, Clean TeQ Europe, the opening of our European Office, and joining the Water Alliance. The increased presence and network will assist our international expansion and improve our ability to better react to demand for our unique suite of technology solutions from European customers.

Our European office is based in Leeuwarden, a city in the north of the Netherlands, and is a part of The Water Campus. The Water Campus is a water hub which locates various water companies, a world-leading water research centre (the Wetsus Institute) and a university with a water application centre, providing extensive facilities to do piloting and test work.

Clean TeQ Water has also joined the Water Alliance, having signed the membership agreement at the European Water Technology Week last week in Leeuwarden, where we were an exhibitor.

The Water Alliance is based on the Water Campus and is a partnership of public and private companies, research institutes and government agencies involved in the water sector in the Netherlands. It includes companies such as NX Filtration, Paques, and Vitens as members. The Water Alliance focuses on innovative and sustainable water technology that can be used worldwide.

The Water Alliance membership network will allow Clean TeQ Water to collaborate with the most innovative public and private companies active in the European water sector. The Water Alliance is also connected to similar water clusters across Europe and the rest of the world, enabling access to international cooperation.

The addition of the European office significantly improves Clean TeQ Water’s value proposition to local customers interested in our technologies, allowing us to do local pilots, implement projects, and provide aftermarket operations and maintenance services.

With some of the world’s most stringent regulation on nutrient recycling and removal, Europe has the potential to become a major market for Clean TeQ Water’s nutrient removal solutions such as BIOCLENS® and PHOSPHIX®. Moreover, recent record droughts across Europe have increased focus on maximising water recovery and recycling, an area where Clean TeQ Water has extensive experience.
