Clean TeQ Water Wins 2026 Governor of Victoria Export Award
3 September 2026
Clean TeQ Water has been named the winner of the Sustainability and Green Economy category at the 47th Governor of Victoria Export Awards.
Now in its 47th year, GOVEA recognises Victorian businesses achieving outstanding success in international markets. The Sustainability and Green Economy category recognises exporters whose products and services deliver measurable environmental outcomes alongside commercial performance.

Clean TeQ Water designs, builds and delivers water treatment and resource recovery plants based on proprietary technology developed and engineered in Australia. The Company’s technologies help customers in the mining, industrial and municipal sectors improve water security, recover valuable resources and reduce environmental impact, and are now deployed on projects across Europe, the Middle East, South America, Asia, Africa and North America.
That international footprint is built on a portfolio of Australian-developed platforms, including moving bed ion exchange, ATA® rapid tailings dewatering and Graphene Membrane technology, supported by a delivery model that moves from laboratory testwork through piloting to full-scale plants.

“Winning this category is recognition of something our team has worked towards for years, which is proving that Australian-developed water and resources technology can compete on the world stage on both cost and environmental performance,” says Clean TeQ Water CEO Peter Voigt.
“Every plant we commission opens the next market. This award reflects the work behind those plants, and the engineers, scientists and project teams in Melbourne who make them possible.”
Clean TeQ Water thanks Global Victoria for its support of Victorian exporters, and congratulates Ego Pharmaceuticals, named 2026 Victorian Exporter of the Year, Dr Nina Webster of Dimerix, recipient of the Global Victoria Women’s Award, and all category winners and finalists.
